Executive Chef

Thomas Ward is the executive chef of Friday Harbor House’s Harbor View Restaurant.

“We are extremely excited to have such a talent as Thomas overseeing Friday Harbor House's culinary operations,” said Lenny Zilz, Vice President of Operations for Columbia Hospitality. “With his range of experience and creative spirit, he will do an outstanding job.”

Previously, Ward oversaw culinary operations for Washington Mutual Leadership Center at Cedarbrook, a Columbia Hospitality-managed facility. Prior to joining the Columbia team, Ward worked for Ray's Boathouse, an upscale Northwest restaurant in Seattle. Ward earned a culinary arts degree from North Seattle Community College.

With a strong interest in seafood predicated on his Northwest upbringing, Chef Ward creates seasonal menus consisting of fresh and local ingredients.
